Get ready to go wild with Carlsbad Community Theatre! We’re launching another exciting Spring musical and looking for spirited young theater makers in 2nd through 8th grade to join the cast — no previous experience or abilities needed.
Students will come together to explore singing, dancing, and acting as they work toward energetic performances of DreamWorks’ Madagascar Jr., complete with costumes, props, and a fun, lively stage experience.

A Summer Camp Adventure
Step into a world of pure imagination this summer with Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka KIDS! In this high-energy, two-week musical theatre camp (9:00am–3:00pm daily), students will bring Charlie Bucket’s magical journey to life — from the thrilling Golden Ticket search to the dazzling, rule-filled wonders of Wonka’s mysterious factory. Featuring the beloved songs from the classic 1971 film and exciting new numbers, this scrumdidilyumptious production offers unforgettable roles for performers of all experience levels — including plenty of opportunities to sing, dance, and shine as Oompa-Loompas! Through professional-level direction, choreography, and music instruction, campers will build confidence, creativity, and teamwork — culminating in a fully staged performance for family and friends.
